Position
Summary: The Maryland Chamber is ardently opposed to any transfers from the Transportation Trust Fund. This bill sought to transfer funds dedicated to transportation needs to create and fund this program. A healthy Transportation Trust Fund is essential to the productivity of Maryland's Transportation System. This bill did not take the needs of the system into account. For these reasons, the Maryland Chamber opposed this bill.
