Maryland Chamber Applauds Selection of Greenbelt for New FBI Headquarters

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Maryland Chamber of Commerce applauds the recent announcement that Greenbelt, Md. has been selected as the site for the new FBI Headquarters. This is an enormous win for the state of Maryland and will provide significant economic benefits for years to come.

Leveraging Maryland’s strong standing as a cybersecurity hub, anchored by institutions like the National Security Agency and Cyber Command at Fort George G. Meade, as well as our robust higher education system with twenty National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity, will help cultivate a diverse pipeline of skilled FBI professionals. This investment will empower Maryland to further strengthen our economy, empower our workforce, and solidify our leadership in the field of national security.
