Betamore expanding, launching new initiatives at City Garage

Betamore, an incubator, co-working space and campus for tech and entrepreneurship, announced Thursday it is partnering with Sagamore Ventures (the venture capital subsidiary of Plank Industries, the private company of Under Armour founder and CEO Kevin Plank) to establish a number of initiatives in the Port Covington startup hub City Garage.

This is not the first time Betamore and Sagamore Ventures have worked together.  The two previously worked together to organize Beta City, Baltimore’s largest tech event hosted in City Garage. Now they are teaming up again on several initiatives including:

Betamore plans to extend existing educational programming to City Garage, working with The Foundery to develop programming around all STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) activities.  Betamore will also be more involved in workforce development initiatives led by Sagamore Development Co. and other possible partners.
