Bill Ripken to Keynote Business Breakthrough Awards Luncheon

Former Major League Baseball player and Ripken Baseball Co-Chairman and Executive Vice President Bill Ripken will keynote the 2014 Business Breakthrough Awards Luncheon (formerly the Small Business of the Year Awards Luncheon), which will be held on May 29 at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen.

After 12 years playing second base in the American League, Bill Ripken retired from Major League Baseball to become a philanthropic entrepreneur alongside his brother, Cal Ripken, Jr. Together, the brothers founded the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation and Ripken Baseball. Today, Bill Ripken is a renowned studio analyst for MLB Network, Sirius XM radio personality, author and speaker. His extensive knowledge of the game and unmatched ability to connect with players has made him the nation’s foremost baseball instructor.
