Chamber Looking to Honor Area Business’s Philanthropic Work

Do you know a company that has shown a commitment to improving the quality of life for residents of the State through its philanthropic efforts?

You do? Then nominate them today for the 2015 Business Philanthropy Awards!

The Maryland Chamber and the Baltimore Business Journal present the Maryland Business Philanthropy Awards each year to recognize the business community’s philanthropic efforts.

We are currently seeking nominations for the 2015 awards.  The deadline for nominations has been extended to the close of business Monday, October 5th.

Companies that have provided outstanding support for local non-profits, 501(c)(3)s and/or schools between September 2014 and August 2015 are eligible.  Businesses need not be a member of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce to be nominated.

At least one outstanding small, medium and large business will receive an award.

The awards are presented as part of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP)-Maryland Chapter’s Philanthropy Day Luncheon event, which will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel.  The luncheon runs from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with registration beginning at 11:00 a.m.
