Choptank Receives Washington Post Top Workplaces Award

Choptank Transport was selected as one of The Washington Post’s Top Workplaces for 2014.

The Washington Post published the list on June 22. Honorees were selected based solely on employee feedback. All companies with 50 or more employees in the Washington region were eligible. An employee surge was conducted by Workplace Dynamics, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. The survey included 22 questions, covering how employees view their job and how they view the health of their organization.

“We’ve always been fortunate to have an extremely dedicated group of employees with a strong work ethic,” said Geoff Turner, President/CEO of Choptank Transport. “A large part of Choptank’s success can be attributed to the staff’s can-do spirit and interdepartmental teamwork.”
