Creative Access is proud to celebrate its 20th anniversary in business in 2014.
Owner and founder, Vonda Peterson, started the firm in 1994. Initially, the company was created to design accessible space for disabled individuals, hence its name Creative Access. Vonda thought of herself as an entrepreneur who was going to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
As time went on, she realized the importance of providing design excellence for all interior environments, particularly those within the healthcare design sector. Over the past two decades, Creative Access’ continuous growth has stemmed from all of the support, encouragement, and requests from clients over the years. Creative Access has enjoyed a repeat client and referral rate of over 95 percent year after year.
What started as a space planning firm has grown into a full‐service architecture and interior design firm whose niche is in healthcare design. The company also specializes in the renovations and repurposing of existing buildings. Creative Access employs a diverse team of architects, designers, and strategic brand specialists whose experience ranges across healthcare, corporate, hospitality, real estate, retail, government, education, and LEED projects.
