EARN Program Update

Two quick updates from our friends at Maryland’s EARN program.

EARN (Employment Advancement Right Now) is a job training initiative that was signed into law last year. The program is designed to create industry-led regional job creation and workforce development partnerships that help to identify common workforce needs for high-demand occupations such as construction, traditional and advanced manufacturing, cyber security, and health care; and develop and implement education or training strategies to address those shortages.

Here are the updates:

The Solicitation for Implementation Grant Proposals will be released Thursday, January 30.  It will be posted on the EARN Maryland website.

On Friday, January 31, from 1-3 p.m., the Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation will host a Pre-Proposal Conference via webinar. Please click here to register.
