Director, Government Affairs: Make an impact advocating for Maryland’s business community! The Maryland Chamber of Commerce seeks an experienced Director of Government Affairs to serve as a registered lobbyist championing pro-business policies and legislation. In this high-impact role, you’ll engage with lawmakers, business leaders and stakeholders to shape outcomes on issues critical to the Chamber’s 6,800+ members. If you have legislative/public policy experience, a commitment to strengthening Maryland’s business climate, and demonstrated success building and maintaining relationships with policymakers, we want to hear from you. Government Affairs Intern: Interested in public policy and advocacy? Join the Maryland Chamber of Commerce as a part-time Government Affairs Intern. Work with experts during the legislative session, gain firsthand legislative process experience, and build your research and writing skills.
