John Leitch is the President and CEO of Winquest Engineering, which operates Winquest Cybersecurity as one of its business divisions. Winquest Cybersecurity provides risk assessment, penetration testing, incident response, consulting and other services to nationwide clients ranging from two-person investment advisor firms to $6.5B manufacturer/retailers. Winquest specializes in support to small and medium businesses since they are at greatest risk of a cyber incident.

Leitch is passionate about cybersecurity and has been featured on Fox Business Network, Bloomberg International, CBS radio, newspapers and various conferences. His written contributions include articles and opinion pieces for major trade publications and newspapers.

Ben Schmerler is the senior IT risk advisor at DP Solutions, an award-winning managed service provider (MSP) headquartered in Columbia, MD. Schmerler works with clients to develop consistent strategies not only for technical security, but also policy and compliance management, system design, integration planning, and other business level technology concerns. He works directly with clients’ staff to provide personalized education on various IT security topics that affect how they interact with technology on a daily basis.

Schmerler graduated from Towson University with a degree in computer information systems and business administration

Greg Furst, CEO, Highstreet // @HighstreetIT

Greg Furst is the CEO of Highstreet, and an entrepreneurial leader with more than 20 years of experience in building organizations within the IT managed services and professional services space. He has led several high-profile initiatives in direct sales, marketing, product management, general management and strategic partnerships.

Prior to joining Highstreet, Furst served as CEO and president of Atherio, a global Oracle technology services company. He also served as EVP of sales & marketing at Rolta International, a global consulting company. Before this, he was vice president & regional portfolio executive at CSC, a global provider of technology-enabled business solutions & services. Additionally, he has held leadership roles at SAVVIS Communications, where he was the VP and GM of Hosting Services, and at Digex, where he was VP of sales.

Furst holds a bachelor of arts from Bucknell University and a master of science from Johns Hopkins University.

Tariq Alvi, President & CEO, XentIT // @xent_it

Tariq Alvi serves as the president and CEO of XentIT, an information technology firm that provides cybersecurity, cloud technologies, information technology resale, managed IT, and system integration services. Alvi has over 25 years of experience in high volume, high capacity and high value information systems. He has served clients in both federal government and commercial sectors.

Alvi earned his bachelor of science in engineering degree from Aligarh Muslim University of India, and a master of science in cybersecurity technology degree from University of Maryland University College. After working for reputed European and US firms, Alvi started XentIT in 2006.

XentIT is headquartered in Crofton, Maryland with an office in Peachtree Corners, Georgia.
