Announcement | 2023 National Civics Bee
Entries into the 2023 Civics Bee are being accepted through February 24th.
The Maryland Chamber Foundation is proud to partner with the U.S. Chamber Foundation’s The Civics Trust. and six local chambers of commerce across Maryland to host the 2023 National Civics Bee.
Building on last year’s successful pilot, the 2023 National Civics Bee invites Maryland middle school students from public, private, charter and home schools to enter one of six competitions hosted by a participating chamber of commerce for chances to win recognition, prizes and an opportunity to showcase their civics knowledge as part of our statewide competition happening this June.

Spotlight | 2022 Teacher Externship Program – Whiting-Turner
Maryland educators Karen Bogoski of Eleanor Roosevelt High School, Devorah Danielson of Central High School and John Bachman of Western High School participated in the Maryland Chamber Foundation Teacher Externship Program in the summer of 2022.
Their 4-week externship with Whiting-Turner gave them the tools to empower their students with essential information and skills needed to begin down a lucrative career path. Watch this short video showcasing this powerful experience.
