“No experience is too small or insignificant. When you graduate from high school after being in my math classes, you may not need the quadratic formula, per se. But it is taking something you’ve learned and then learning to apply it to a real-world problem or slightly different circumstances. Most important is that even when you get frustrated, keep trying things and move through the problem. That’s one of the things I want to focus on in class this year.”

Who: Open to all public high school science, technology, engineering, arts, and math teachers (grades 9-12), CTE Teachers and Counselors in Maryland
When: Application period has been extended through December 31, 2020.
*You will be notified in the Spring of 2021 if you’ve been selected for an interview with a host company.
Earn: The Maryland Chamber Foundation will provide a stipend to each teacher who is selected to participate in the program. Those teachers will also have the opportunity to earn up to four CPD credits from the Maryland State Department of Education.
