KCI Technologies Inc. appointed Gino J. Gemignani Jr. to its board of directors. Prior to retiring earlier this year, Gemignani served as a Senior Vice President with The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company.
Gemignani joined Whiting-Turner in 1962 and spent his first ten years building commercial and industrial facilities throughout the Northeast. As he took on new responsibilities and rose up the corporate structure, he supervised projects in a wide range of markets for clients such as E. I. DuPont, General Motors Corp., Baltimore Gas and Electric, the Greenbrier Country Club, and the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Gemignani will serve with fellow board members Terry F. Neimeyer, PE, BCEE, FACEC, ENV SP (chairman); Nathan J. Beil, PE, W.RE (president); Harvey M. Floyd, PE; G. Scott Lang, PE, CCM; Bryan R. Lawson, EIT, LEED AP, CCM; Kenneth H. Trout; Patricia J. Mitchell; and William L. Jews.
“Gino is an ideal addition to our already well-rounded board,” said Neimeyer. “His leadership, knowledge and experience within the construction industry is directly applicable to the wide array of services KCI offers, and his guidance will help us with our strategic effort to work as a team of combined engineer/contractors on future infrastructure projects.”
