Listening Tour Beneficial to New Chamber President/CEO Ross

Christine Ross, the Maryland Chamber’s new president/CEO, has arrived.  With three weeks under her belt, she has embarked on an aggressive listening tour meeting with Chamber members, board members, key stakeholders, prospective members, legislators, association leaders – anyone who will speak candidly about what the Maryland Chamber is doing well and importantly, what it could do better.

“The meetings are helping orient me to what the business community expects – and needs – from the Maryland Chamber,” said Ross. 

During each encounter, Ross is quick to emphasize that the Maryland Chamber will:

Ross is often heard saying, “It takes three miles to stop a barge” and we all agree, it will take longer than three weeks to strengthen the Chamber.
