Maryland Chamber & Baltimore City Chamber Partner to Explore DEI Innovation

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Maryland Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce to provide cutting-edge insight into how Maryland companies are innovating in the diversity, equity and inclusion space. The chambers will bring together leaders in DEI for an in-depth panel discussion titled “Businesses Leading with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion” at the University of Baltimore on Wednesday, November 2, from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m.

“Diversity, equity and inclusion are a business imperative — a core part of every company’s collective purpose,” said Mary Kane, president & CEO of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce. “At the Maryland Chamber, our mission is to advance inclusive partnerships for a Maryland where all businesses and their communities thrive. Through this robust conversation with top DEI professionals, we will delve into what is working for companies as they innovate in this space.”

“The Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce is excited to partner for the first time with the Maryland Chamber of Commerce to present this important panel discussion,” said Lenora Henry, executive director of the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce. “This event will be held at the University of Baltimore, my alma mater, which itself is an example of a strong, diverse institution. We will be bringing together local businesses and entrepreneurs to learn from experts from Baltimore’s leading corporations.”

Tickets are $49 for members of either chamber or $69 for non-members. Early Bird discounted pricing is available through October 3.
