Maryland Chamber Brings Elected Officials and Business Community Together

The Chamber hosted its annual Maryland Business Reception on January 29 at the Governor Calvert House in Annapolis. Once again hundreds of business leaders from across Maryland gathered as the state’s top legislative leaders including: House Speaker Michael E. Busch, Senate President Thomas V. “Mike” Miller, House Minority Leader Nicholaus R. Kipke and Senate Minority Leader J.B. Jennings, shared their vision for Maryland’s economy.  The Q&A session included topics such as:

-What state government can do to make Maryland more competitive
-Maryland’s AAA bond
-Workforce readiness.

This was a great opportunity to meet face-to-face with those who work on issues that have great impact on Maryland’s business climate. Thank you to all those who attended and made this year’s Business Reception a success.  Special thanks to our event sponsors.
