Maryland Chamber Federation Welcomes Four New Partners

The Maryland Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that four of its members have become partners with the Maryland Chamber Federation, a network of 23 local and regional chambers of commerce and trade associations committed to supporting the state’s small business community. The new Federation partners are as follows:
- Maryland Tech Council, the largest technology and life sciences trade association in Maryland
- Cybersecurity Association of Maryland Inc. (CAMI), a trade association comprising hundreds of cybersecurity providers, businesses and organizations that offer support and resources to Maryland’s cybersecurity industry
- Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce, which serves Crofton, Gambrills, Davidsonville, Millersville and Bowie
- Pikesville Owings Mills Regional Chamber of Commerce, which serves Pikesville, Owings Mills and the surrounding areas
The Federation was established a year ago to ensure the needs and concerns of small businesses are elevated to the state and federal levels of government. Participation in the Federation gives partners and their own members increased influence in the state legislature and access to timely information, opportunities and resources.
Through the Maryland Chamber Federation, any business with 10 or fewer full-time employees, who is already a member of a participating local chamber or trade association, will receive free Federation membership into the Maryland Chamber of Commerce.
“We’re excited that four prominent members of the Maryland Chamber have also chosen to become partners with our Federation,” said Christine Ross, president and CEO of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce. “By partnering with the Federation, they are providing an invaluable service to their own small-business members. The Federation is all about ‘strength in numbers,’ and as the Federation grows, so will the influence of small businesses in Maryland.”
“We’re looking forward to a long partnership with the Maryland Chamber Federation,” said Marty Rosendale, CEO of the Maryland Tech Council. “Our member companies are working hard to make Maryland the number-one state for life sciences and technology in the country—and having access to Chamber resources and a network of 4,500 like-minded business and community leaders will only amplify those efforts.”
