Timothy J. Adams, President & CEO, Systems Application & Technologies, Inc.
Timothy J. Adams is the president and CEO of Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH), a company he founded in 1989. SA-TECH is a progressive and steadily growing professional services firm with origins in the high technology and technical support areas of the defense industry. SA-TECH’s business lines include technical services (engineering, logistics and information technology) and facilities management.
An energetic, creative and engaging individual, Adams started SA-TECH with only a few small defense contracts. Since its founding, SA-TECH has grown into a multi-million dollar diversified company with employees around the country. His exceptional leadership skills have guided the company to success, growth and prominence. James Cantor, Chief of Performance Excellence and Strategic Partnerships, Leidos
Dr. James Cantor is the chief of performance excellence and strategic partnerships at Leidos, where he oversees strategic sourcing, execution and mission assurance, and enterprise risk. He most recently served as chief technology officer. Cantor joined the company in 1990 as a project manager and worked on several high-profile programs before entering line management as a division manager, operations manager, and deputy group president. In 2014, Dr. Cantor became the national security sector chief engineer and Leidos’ technical director for program execution. In 2016 he assumed these responsibilities for the entire enterprise as Leidos’ corporate engineering executive. As part of this role, Cantor focused on the technical and execution risk of Leidos’ most critical programs and supported all elements of the CTO organization including the development of technology strategy, maturing technical core competencies, and fostering technical human capital.

Sheldon Caplis, Philanthropy and Strategy Consultant, Caplis Consulting
Sheldon Caplis provides philanthropy and strategy consulting services, through Caplis Consulting, throughout the country to educational organizations, institutions and other non-profits such as: Teach for America – Baltimore, Achieving the Dream, National Office, Baltimore City Community College, Guidewell Financial Solutions, Ready at Five, Community College of Baltimore County, and House of Ruth MD. Focusing on community relations, engagement with the business community and annual and special gifts, Caplis connects senior executives with potential board placements and coaches senior non-profit executives including University Presidents and fundraisers.
Previous to launching his own consulting business, Caplis worked as the director of community relations at OneMain Financial where he was responsible for all local and national philanthropic strategic initiatives for the largest consumer lender in the U.S. with 1,800 branches and 10,000 employees. He also has experience as the regional director at Citi Community Development and oversaw community development activities in Maryland, Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia. In other professional capacities, Caplis has served as the vice president for institutional advancement at University of Maryland, Baltimore County and as the vice president of institutional advancement at University of Baltimore.
