Maryland Chamber of Commerce’s ‘Meet the State’ to draw legislators and business leaders

Annapolis, Md. (Jan 23, 2023) – The Maryland Chamber of Commerce’s ‘Meet the State,’ presented by Amazon, will take place on Thursday, January 26 at the Calvert House in Annapolis.

In its fourth year, ‘Meet the State’ has become the premier early-session gathering of legislators and state government leaders in Annapolis. This year’s program will feature a variety of speakers including Comptroller Brooke Lierman and Senate President Bill Ferguson, discussing their priorities for 2023 in relation to the challenges faced by the business community.

The agenda includes several sessions with leadership and committee chairs, including panels with General Assembly Leadership, the Senate Budget & Taxation Committee with the House Ways & Means Committee, and Senate Finance Committee with the House Economic Matters Committee.
