Dr. Thomas J. Zirpoli was named Dean of Graduate and Professional Studies effective Dec. 9, 2013. Since 1996, Zirpoli has served at the college as Professor of Education, the Laurence J. Adams Distinguished Chair, coordinator of the Human Services Management graduate program, and president and CEO of Target Community & Educational Services, Inc. In these positions, held concurrently, he has guided the studies of hundreds of students, contributed to the design and development of several new graduate programs, managed a large state-licensed agency serving over 330 children and adults with various disabilities living in Carroll and Montgomery counties and oversees Target’s annual budget of $6.4 million dollars. Since July 1, Zirpoli has served as McDaniel’s interim dean succeeding Dr. Henry Reiff who served as dean since 2008.
