Member Spotlight: Joe Mezzanotte

Last year the Maryland Chamber launched regional councils to help member executives strengthen local business connections and join together to advocate pro-business policies. Asking Whiteford, Taylor & Preston’s Joe Mezzanotte to co-chair the Howard County region was a easy decision.

Joe is a leader in the Howard County business community. He is a former Chairman of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce, and the winner of the county chamber’s 2013 Business Advocate award. He has served on the Maryland Chamber’s board since 2010, and he represents the Howard County Chamber in the Maryland Competitiveness Coalition. He efforts have helped improve communication and collaboration between the county chamber and the Maryland Chamber.

He and Howard County regional council co-chair KatzAbosch’s Mark Cissell, hosted a successful networking event to kickoff the regional effort, and he has recruited two new members during the past year.

Thanks, Joe, for your leadership and commitment to the Maryland Chamber.
