Morgan State awarded $2M grant for job readiness programs

Morgan State University was awarded a five-year, $2 million grant from the United Negro College Fund for new programs designed to improve employment outcomes for graduates.

The university will work in conjunction with Norfolk State University and Tennessee State University on the Career Pathways Initiative. The Career Pathways Initiative aims to develop academic programs, internships, partnerships with industry, certifications and faculty development programs centered around career readiness.

Morgan State is one of 24 universities and colleges to receive the UNCF grants.
