MPT Promotes Joe Campbell to Editor

Joe Campbell was promoted to the position of producer/editor at Maryland Public Television (MPT). In his new role, he is responsible for producing and editing videos for the station’s special projects unit, the work-for-hire arm of MPT that serves for-profit and nonprofit clients with a variety of production services.

Mr. Campbell joined MPT in 2000 and has served primarily as a linear online editor in the stations content unit, working on such productions as Outdoors Maryland, Kiplin Hall: Birthplace of Maryland, Secrets of the Chesapeake, and Heart of the Civil War. Over the past decade, he has also specialized in creative editing and graphics for both studio and field productions and has trained both MPT staff and freelancers on FCC technical standards for broadcast productions.
