Ronald Peterson Receives Governor’s International Leadership Award

Ronald R. Peterson, President of The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System and Executive Vice President of Johns Hopkins Medicine, received the 2014 Governor’s International Leadership Award on March 5, 2014 from Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley. 

The Governor’s International Leadership Award is given by the World Trade Center Institute to innovative leaders who positively represent Maryland on the global stage. 

“I am honored and humbled to be the recipient of this award, knowing as I do that in giving it to me, you actually are honoring all that Johns Hopkins Medicine is doing to advance medical care, research and education throughout the world,” Peterson said.
